WE ARE LOOKING FOR 1 EXPERIENCED SURF COACH (casual)

We are looking for an experienced coach, start date October 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Foundation Coaching Award.

  • First Aid Certification.

  • Ocean Surf Rescue Award.

  • Blue Card (Working with Children).

  • Valid drivers license and own transport.

  • CPR Certification.

  • Progressive Surf Coach Award. (preferable)

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surf coaching sessions for individuals of varying skill levels.

  • Knowledge of teaching surfing techniques, safety guidelines, and ocean awareness.

  • Ensure the safety of surfers at all times.

  • Provide first aid and surf rescues if necessary.

  • Maintain and care for surf equipment.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and other staff members.

  • Ability to read and understand Gold Coast & Northern NSW surf forecasts and conditions.

  • Ability to coach with video analysis and operating camera / filming.
